Privacy policy
Last updated 3 August 2026
This policy explains what happens to information you give Mulate Digital Digital Solutions through this website. It describes what the site actually does, not what a generic template says it might do.
What we collect
The only information this website collects from you is what you type into the enquiry form and choose to send:
- Your name, and your business name if you give one
- Your email address, and phone number if you give one
- Your location and industry, if you give them
- The service, budget range, timeline and preferred contact method you select
- Your existing website address, if you give one
- The description of your project that you write
- A record that you gave consent, and the time you gave it
There are no account sign-ups, no newsletters and no forms other than the enquiry form. We do not ask for, and you should never send, payment card details, passwords or identity documents through this site.
How we use it
Your enquiry is used to answer your enquiry: to reply, to prepare a quote or proposal, and to keep a record of what was agreed. That is the whole purpose.
We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a marketing list. We do not share it with anyone for their own purposes, and we do not use it to train any system.
How it is handled and where it goes
Submitting the form sends two emails: a notification to us, and a confirmation to you. Both are delivered by Resend, an email delivery service. Your enquiry passes through their systems in order to be delivered, which is the same relationship any email has with a mail provider.
This website is hosted by Vercel. Web servers keep short-term operational logs of requests, which is standard and necessary for a site to run and to be protected from abuse.
We deliberately do not write your enquiry, your name, your email address or your IP address into our own application logs. Your connection address is used only, and briefly in memory, to rate limit the form against automated submissions.
Both providers may process or store data outside Australia. If that matters to your organisation, contact us before sending anything sensitive and we will arrange another way to receive it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months so we can refer back to what was discussed, then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a project, the related records are kept for as long as we are required to keep business and tax records.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner. We will do it, unless we are legally required to keep the record.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
Ask through the contact form. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy complaint, you can escalate it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and every form submission is validated on the server before it is accepted. Credentials for email delivery are held as server-side environment variables and are never present in the browser.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. The current version always applies to information we hold. This policy is governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
